Project II is for adults 18 and older that have developmental disabilities.
Best Buddies
Best Buddies is a national program offering opportunities for young adults with disabilities to participate in social and recreational activities with students from local universities or colleges.
People First
People First is a national organization that promotes self-advocacy, discussion, education and decision-making. The local chapter meets monthly and a statewide convention is held annually.
Educational Programs
Classes on life skills topics including communication, social skills, friendship, dating and self-advocacy are offered on an ongoing basis.
Social Activities
Year-round recreational activities for small and large groups include dances, theater and concert outings, art classes, discussion groups and other events geared to adults.
The following individual Project II programs are designed to accommodate the interests of different adult age groups:
Connections 18 - 24 years old
Pathways 25 - 39 years old
Stars 40 - 60 years old
Hearts over 60 years
